Apply for the TEACH Scholarship

You will need your CCEI confirmation number to apply.

Get Approval Status

Processing time for your TEACH Scholarship can take 3-4 weeks.

Frequently Asked Questions

As an educator, how much does it cost to partner with CCEI?

Nothing! This is a free service for educators and childcare workers. We act as a support service to help educators take advantage of already in place funding.

Who can apply for CCEI Partnership?

Those that qualify for the TEACH Early Childhood® Scholarship program also qualify for CCEI partnership.

Qualified applicants include early childhood center owners, directors, administrators, and teachers in the state of Florida.

What do I need for my TEACH application?

To complete the TEACH Early Childhood® Scholarship Online Application, you will need:

  • The email address used to create your personal account on The Children's Forum Portal.
  • Proof of residency
  • Proof of high school diploma (regionally accredited) or GED
  • DCF transcript printed within 90 days
  • Copies of ECE certificates and/or college transcripts
  • Email address for the child care program where you are employed
  • DCF License number of the program where you are employed
  • School or training program you wish to attend. Check the ECE Education Directory for options available to you.
Many scholarship models require your employer to sponsor you and verify employment. Sponsoring employers must create and utilize a Business Account to provide the necessary information. Speak to your employer about TEACH before you apply.

How long does the process take?

Overall, this process takes approximately 3-4 weeks to complete.

But getting started only takes ~20 minutes!

Here's how long each part of the full process takes:

  1. Register with CCEI: Applying for partnership with CCEI takes just a few moments: Submit our Sign Up Form at the top of this page. You will receive an order confirmation via email (check your spam folder!) after submitting the form.

  2. Apply for the TEACH Scholarship: On average, it takes a candidate around 15 minutes to complete the TEACH Application. You will need your CCEI confirmation number and the items detailed in the "What do I need for my TEACH Application" tab above.  

  3. Get Approval Status: This portion of the process takes the longest, with TEACH confirming that the candidate meets all requirements. Processing time can take up to 4 weeks. As soon as we receive Award Notification from TEACH, you will get a welcome email with instructions on how to start your program.
